In a world filled with garage door openers, Amazon orders and privacy fences, it can be easy to live without knowing the people we live closest to. The way we structure our lives reflects the internal rhythms of our souls. We’re often closed off, driven and busy. We’ve built bigger fences instead of longer tables — rarely welcoming anyone into our homes or our lives. But the history of the church has been centered around the table. For hundreds of years, the table has been where the people of Jesus met. The gospel spread from one home to another.
